Steph Mader runs Tolt River Studios and co-owns Tolt River Press in Carnation, Washington. She has been an artist for an indecent number of years, and is currently focusing on "sgraffito glass" - a technique she developed using traditional glass stainer's paints to scratch out designs on fused glass sushi ware, wall art, ikebana vases and other pieces.
