My name is Colleen, and I am a stay at home Mom living in beautiful Olympia Washington. I share my life with my husband,our lovely young daughter, and a kitty. I consider myself a farmer in the city, growing my own fruits and vegetables and have, in the past, kept bees for pollination and honey (and also for their good company). I worked for many years as a marine biologist and did scientific illustration on the side for fun and extra cash. Knitting was my first three dimensional art form, which led to an interest in spinning my own yarn. I then discovered sewing as a way to get projects done in a more timely manner. I am a total color and texture fanatic, and am known to be found petting the skeins of wool in yarn stores. I am a proud member of the Etsy Rain Street Team.
