I love painting. I love eating. I love cooking. And I love gardening. So I'm insanely fortunate that all three of these things come together, well, in a way, in my watercolor vegetable portraits. All those colors, textures, and crazy shapes are too outrageous not to love and want to savor in every way.
My other hats: I am a theologian by training and an editor by day-job. I am interested in seeing how much weight my art and cards might be able to carry eventually, while still sneaking in some time to write as well.
And I'm just getting into stamp-carving. The world's mine oyster in a whole new way here, and I have hoards of ideas for tea/dish towels that I can hardly wait to get rolling, both vegetables and beneficial bugs, or beasts, or critters... I haven't figured out what the best name for these visions will be. But get ready to see some over the next few months. Carpe diem!
