The word sucree is French for sweet or sugary. Growing up in Maine, my grandfather had a maple sugar camp which is called a sucrerie in French. I spent much of my childhood there playing in the woods with my cousins and eating maple taffy. It's influence on my life is significant which is why I named my jewelry collection Sucree.
I've always had an appreciation for handmade items. The quality and attention to detail always surpass mass-produced items. I can almost feel the warmth the artists has instilled. From my grandfather's maple syrup to my mother's hand sewn dresses, my own art has grown.
It's important to me that I do no harm while pursuing metalsmithing. I use 100% recycled metal, making every piece eco-friendly. You'll see my nature loving spirit in the items I create. Birds, flowers, water, and movement provide endless inspiration. I spend my time in nature and enjoy all of the outdoor activities Seattle has to offer.

I hope you enjoy your new jewelry as much as I enjoyed creating it!
