This is a great opportunity to explore the medium of paperclay ceramic.
This workshop will review the influence of paperclay methods on basic handbuilding forms and will include non-linear approaches to the creative process. Participants will get hands-on experience with this versatile material.
Rosette will discuss possibilities for specific projects, such as tiles, bas-relief, pottery, molding, figure, carving, armatures, and slab construction. There will be time for hands-on practice of wet-to-dry joins, assembly, repairs, cutting, elementary slab construction, reinforcing, armatures, and more. No prerequisites. Paperclay provided.
Taught by Rosette Gault. Saturday and Sunday. 2 sessions.
