Introduction to Glass Fusing

Let the sun shine! Learn the fundamentals of glass fusing while creating sun catchers or window panels perfect for the garden or inside your home. You make 2-4 projects from a 12x10 sheet of glass, and learn about choosing materials, cutting and arranging glass elements. You'll be working with transparent, opaque, and iridescent glass as well as frit, stringers, and rods. The sun catchers will be fused later at my studio, but we'll discuss the fundamentals of kiln work as well as sources for glass supplies.
