Starting with a used hardcover book, learn how to create an altered book. The instructor will demonstrate techniques for removing and adding pages, painting and glazing pages, sewing pages, selecting images and text, planning the composition, and adding ephemera. You will also learn how to make interesting envelopes, tags, and folded pages. Students may bring materials from home to include. Hardcover books and other materials are provided. Suitable for beginners and seasoned artists. Please bring a lunch or $ for local take-out.
