Continue your knitting journey with this class as you learn the effects of ribbing, shaping and seams! You will be making a Chullo style hat for the Pacific Northwest that can be made with any yarn and in any size with the tricks you will learn in this class. The objective of this class is to broaden your skills with the needles, see the effects of shaping using decreases and short rows, seam with confidence, and reading modern patterns.

This is a two day class and a total of 5 hours class time. The Bag Class offers beginning sewers a chance to get acquainted with basic fabric cutting and measuring skills, basic machine use, stitching, hemming and seam finishing among other techniques. In the class you’ll make a cool shopping bag with a pocket and handles from 1 yard of medium to heavy weight fabric. This is a beginning class for people with no prior sewing experience. Two 2 ½ - hour sessions. Fee: $50 We require pre-registration for all of our classes. To register; you can stop by the store or give us a call at 206-709-0707 with your credit card information. Classes fill up fast and are first come, first serve. Fourteen days notice is required to reschedule or cancel any class for a refund.

This is a two day class and a total of 5 hours class time. Hone the skills you need to sew from patterns. In this class use a pattern to cut it out and piece a garment, make darts, put in a zipper and make a hem and waistband. All while creating a fun and sassy skirt. This is an intermediate class for people who have taken the beginning sewing class or have equivalent sewing experience.
Two 2 ½ - hour sessions.
