Handcrafted art a special gift The default Valentine’s Day gift choices are chocolate, flowers and dinner. Nice options, but not very creative. And certainly none of them will last very long! But a hand-sewn quilt, a handcrafted necklace or a handmade piece of pottery will evoke warm memories for the recipient for years to come. A portion of the booth fees paid by each artist will be donated to Eastside Domestic Violence Program, (EDVP) What will you find at the Artisan Gift Show?

I grew up on a cattle ranch in Northern Idaho surrounded by a family full of people who were great at making stuff from scratch. I learned early how much fun it was to be an industrious 'SheGyver' who could make something artful and useful out of disparate ingredients. Soapmaking had an obvious allure.
